Acrylic, Paint and Unity FFF Day!

Good Morning,

I wasnt sure if I would be able to post this today. I thank God for allowing my internet connection to finally be available. We had wind storms the past couple days which affected our utilities and cable service.

Well, I am on a buying freeze and need to use all the product I have stored in my scrapbook room. I have never took the opportunity to play with acrylic or with using paint to stamp. This is my first try with it. So please provide any advice with the type of material or techniques that works well with acrylic layout. I placed the white paper behind it so you could see the Unity puzzle piece stamps I used and the rubon.

I decided to offer blog candy too. I am only requesting you to comment or advice and become a follower of my blog. I will pull a winner on Monday. The blog candy will be one of the few kits I have available from a class I taught and a My Heart Sings Unity Stamp too. The picture of the kit is on the right panel of my blog.

Thank you for looking.

  1. what a beautiful page. i didn't realize your page was on an acrylic page until you put white behind it. i have never tried anything so large. i am just discovering the fun of acrylic now, and so far i have used acrylic paint on the opposite side to back the front side, and also to adhere objects, rub-ons are FUN, and any type of adhesive tape that is popular right now.

  2. That is darling! I followed you, thanks for the chance to win! I also like to use Stazon-ink on acrylic. It's slippery but it dries quickly and looks great!

  3. This is adorable!! Only tip I can give for acrylic is...Staz-on works great. I haven't had great luck with other inks, and haven't tried paint on it yet. :)

  8. I like the transparency and the colors! I am always having a heard time stamping on the sheets... tend to not be patient enough to let it dry... But this looks great!
